We all have our struggles—feeling uneasy and ill-equipped to face the many challenges life brings. At times these challenges can limit and overwhelm us. Psychotherapy provides a unique relationship that takes these challenges as opportunities to reach beyond our feelings of unease and towards a sense of personal freedom.
I work with the understanding that, as humans, we are unique and complex beings. We have our particular ways to communicate how we are suffering and what we need to feel better.
My training from The Centre for Training in Psychotherapy equips me with the self-understanding necessary to create, together with the client, a safe, non-judgmental, and empathic space that endeavours to meet the courage always present in any steps towards therapy.
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist and am influenced by the following modalities: Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Relational Psychotherapy, Object Relations, Self-Psychology, and Existential Psychotherapy.
